Lyndale is a late 18th century stone cottage of considerable charm and character, located in the village of Roadwater at the foot of the Brendon Hills in Exmoor National Park.

The cottage comprises two double bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room,  a separate dining-room and a ground floor shower-room and toilet.  Full heating is provided (combination storage and convector).

Features of the cottage include exposed beams throughout, flagstone and wood floors, an open fire and a wood-burner.

 
There is a pub, which serves good food, and a shop within easy walking distance from the cottage.

The cottage is fully furnished and equipped with modern facilities.  Everything has been provided for the perfect short break or longer stay.

The comfortable living-room, with its open plan staircase and cosy wood-burner, has two sofas, one of which converts to a double bed, a television, CD and DVD player.

 

The dining room has a farm-house style table with seating for six, a welsh dresser and an open fire and is an ideal setting for that special evening.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer,  washing machine and dishwasher, plus all cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and glassware.

The two double bed-rooms are furnished for comfort as well as character, one with twin beds, the other with a double.  Duvets and bed-linen are provided.


The cottage has its own hill-side garden and private parking for two cars fifty yards from the door.

The garden has a barbeque area with a table and plenty of seating and is a perfect  place for a picnic or just to sit and relax in the peace and tranquility.
